Arthur Woodville Wilks New passed away on July 4, 2023 at the Edmonton General Extended Care Facility.
He was pre-deceased by his Father Arthur New and Mother Winnifred New, and wife of 30 years Judith New. He is survived by his Sister Joan Goodman (Eric Goodman), Son Arthur John W., Grandson Arthur John I., and Nephew Ian Goodman and Niece Elaine Guile (Goodman).
Arthur was a long time Dental Technician in Edmonton, member at Highlands Golf Club and an avid outdoorsman. He made many people laugh over the years, was very
dedicated to his family and passions. He will be greatly missed but will live long in
memories. Especially every time we hear a crow call!
A Celebration of Arthur’s life will be held on July 26, 2023 at Highland Golf Club, 6603 Ada Blvd NW, Edmonton, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Please contact Arthur Jr to RSVP.
Art was a part of our large outdoor group of buddies for over 45 years. So many great memories and exciting times out hunting, fishing and golfing. He will be sadly missed. His story telling and sense of humor after hours was all part of the good times we all had with Art. RIP good friend.
