With great sorrow and heartbreak, we say goodbye to our dearest Baylee.
At the young age of 21, Baylee Jean McDonald of Edmonton passed away in a tragic accident on October 24,2024.
She leaves behind her mom Bobbie and step-dad Mark, her dad Gary and step-mom Kelly, her Grandpa Dale (Joan) and Grandpa Willie (Donna), Grandma Lori, as well as many extended family and numerous friends. She was predeceased by her Grandmas’ Glenda and Beverlee, Grandpa Evan as well as her Uncle Dan.
She was a strong, stubborn but sweet girl who was just starting to blossom into an amazing young woman. Her heart was large and she cared deeply for her family and friends. She loved animals and often talked about being a veterinarian when she was younger. As she grew older she talked of many possibilities but did not have the time to settle on to anything particular. She was our “Baylee bug”, our “Jelly Bean”, our “Little missy”, mom’s “Kiddo” and dad’s “Lee”.
She faced many challenges in her last few years and embraced her street family/friends with passion. Many knew her as Skylar/Sky and along with her family they are also grieving her loss.
Per her families wishes there will be no funeral or memorial service. She has been cremated and is now home again. Instead, her family requests that you visit her social media pages and leave messages of memories, love and support there. Facebook- Lee Moleschi or Skylar Molkens and Instagram- skylarmolkens
She leaves a huge emptiness in the hearts of all of us who loved her, many who were her friends, and even more who just had a glimmer of her through our families. We are so proud of her and know that she is now in peace. We will forever love you our beautiful girl.
