It is with great shock and sadness that the family of Darrell Demchuk announce his unexpected passing on April 6, 2025, at the age of 52.
Darrell will be remembered by his family, extended family, many friends, and his beloved dog Daisy.
Darrell was unexpectedly taken from us too soon but will be remembered as a kind and caring person. He was loved and will be missed by all. Many thanks to everyone who has reached out to the family during this difficult time.
A private ceremony was previously held for Darrell’s immediate family. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date for those who wish to celebrate him and share a story or two.
Memorial donations in memory of Darrell may be made to a charity supporting the wellbeing of animals.

From our early days at Nuflo to our time working together at Sensia, Darrell was more than just a colleague—he was a true friend. His last message to me simply said, “cya Monday.” It’s hard to put into words how surreal and painful this loss feels.
Darrell was one of the most heartfelt, easygoing, and charismatic people I’ve ever met. He brought light and laughter into his day at work, and there was never a dull moment with him around. He truly broke the mold—there was no one quite like him.
