It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Eleanor Willis, age 90 on May 22nd, 2020.
Eleanor, better known as Jo, was a successful realtor in the Edmonton area for many years. She married second husband, Thomas (T.O.) Willis in 1982 and they relocated to Kelowna, B.C. in 1989. T.O. passed away in 2006 and Eleanor relocated to Edmonton to be close to family in 2011.
She had many lifelong friends and was passionate about cooking, music and a good game of cards.
Eleanor will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are Dennis (Phyllis); Linda; Delbert (Jacky); Richard (Yvonne); Patti and Tim, 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter Connie.
Her love of family, sense of humor, and her kind and generous heart will be deeply missed. In lieu of flower, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Mom volunteered for them for many years and received pins for her years of service.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of such a fine lady. I am so glad that we had the opportunity to get in a visit in 2016. How I remember the laughs between my mom and Jo during the different occasions where we were sharing residences. She was more like an aunt to me then a “close friend of the families”. My deepest sympathies to the family.

We will miss her very much.
