On January 17, 2024, Jean Marie Nadon of Athabasca, AB, passed away peacefully at the age of 100 years. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered.
She is survived by her son Marcel (Carol) Boucher, daughter Claudette (Jim) Dornan, and daughter-in-law Barbara Boucher. She also leaves 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-granddaughters.
Jean was predeceased by her son Raymond Boucher, and sisters Bernadette Cote and Fluerette (Bill) Bruni, as well as brothers Robert Nadon and Roy Nadon.
In respecting Jean’s wishes cremation has taken place, and she asked that no services be held. A private family service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the caring staff at Athabasca Extended Care. Their loving care bestowed upon Jean was a comfort to the family.
To all the family, we express our sincere condolences for the loss of this great lady, our Auntie Germaine. She was always such a joy to visit with, especially when she teamed up with her sister Fleurette. We will have fond memories forever. Love to you all. Carol and Bob
