Laura Ann Davies: August 1st, 1966 – August 21st, 2020
It is with a heavy heart that the family of Laura Ann Davies announces her unexpected passing.
Laura was extraordinarily hard working, loyal, and giving. Her life and relationships with her children, grandson, and siblings were defined by her huge heart and profound kindness. As an amazing mother, Laura gave her kids everything she could. She loved being a grandmother and spoiling her only grandson William, who lit up her life. As a wonderful sister, Laura showed deep love for her siblings, always being there to support and help. Laura was also an accomplished businesswoman, while always putting family first. She was a bright light in this world that was extinguished to soon. We love you and miss you always.
She leaves behind two children, Brandon Davies and Tara Davies; siblings, Bill Munro, Dave Munro, and Tracy Darrach; and her grandson, William Davies. All of us will miss her terribly. We will love and cherish who she was and the many happy memories we have with her.
A funeral will be held Edmonton Word of Faith, September 5 at 2pm 3904 91 St. Edmonton, Alberta.
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
I’m so sorry to hear that your mother has passed Tara. I really enjoyed her smile and building the elephant.
She had such a big heart.. Rest In Peace my friend.
I worked with Laura in Edson and Red Deer, and I remember her as funny, warm hearted, generous and brave. My condolences to Tara and Brandon.
