Howard, Lawrence A
It is with great sorrow that the family of Larry Howard announces his sudden passing at the age of 71 years. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by Roseann, his wife of 47 years: sons Scott (Kimberley) and Kevin (Ingrid); his grandchildren who were the light of his life, Emalyn, Oliver, Anika, Ines and Kellan; brothers Ralph (Donna) and Wayne (Debbie) and many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Vivian and his brother Glen. Larry had an entrepreneurial spirit and when he had an idea he would pursue it. He especially enjoyed building and fixing, no job was too big or too small. He was a licenced flooring mechanic and building inspector. He had an interest in all sports and was involved with Alberta Lacrosse for 30 years, a referee for 20 where he finally retired with an international certification. Larry was a Master Mason; a member of Highlands Lodge as well as the Al Shamal Shrine Club where he had the honor to serve as Potentate in 2013. He was a man of integrity and a true and loyal friend. We all enjoyed his humor and ability to make you smile. He enjoyed life and will be forever missed by family and friends. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Please raise a glass with family and friends in his honor. The family has requested that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
If
Auntie Roseann, Scott, Kimberly and family, Kevin, Ingrid and family, We were in disbelief hearing that Uncle Larry had passed away. Uncle Larry was always sincere, thoughtful when we talked. His smile was contagious as was his sense of humour. We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very difficult time. We will cherish the time we had with Uncle Larry. May all the memories you have of your husband/father/grandfather help you today and the difficult days to come when you are missing him.
Sending hugs and prayers to all.
Love,
Patti and Ron
