Mary passed away peacefully at St Albert after a short illness. Her life was filled by family and she is very missed by them all. Some of her favourite stories included her travel to Europe, the Caribbean and the US. She started her life as a daughter of farmers and became Mom at a young age to three children. Auntie Mary was a second Mom to her nieces and nephew. She became Grandma to two grandchildren and then four great-grandchildren who lived with her.
Mary was a music teacher with award winning students. She had the talent of a concert pianist but chose to be a wife and Mom instead. Mary’s talent with numbers was a true strength. She used that talent as a bookkeeper as well as a career in banking which saw her start as a part-time teller and retire as management.
Mary is survived by her husband, Lewis. Her three children, Catherine, Clifford and Clayton (Dawn). Her grandchildren, Amanda and Alex. Her great-grandchildren, Takyra, Tynan, Taleya and Tayana. Her sister, Sylvia (Ron) and her brother, Art (Leona). Her nieces and nephews as well as grandnephews and great-nieces.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, Herbert (Bert) and Nellie Pryor (nee Kinsey).
