Michael Harold James Lush

Michael Harold James Lush, (known as Jamie to many of his close friends and family), age 50 of Fort McMurray, Alberta passed away on February 4, 2023 in Edmonton, Alberta.

Michael was born in Gander, Newfoundland and moved to Fort McMurray at the young age of 5 with his parents. He enjoyed
listening to music, Elvis was his idol.

Michael is survived by his parents, Venessa and Harold Lush, of Fort McMurray, his daughters Michaela Raw and her husband Kyle Raw, and Maddison Lush and her partner Antonio Hancock of Fort McMurray; grandson, Hudson; sisters, Nadene Lush and her husband Jim Baird of Beaumont, AB, Luanne Lush and her husband Tony Husain of Fort McMurray; nephews, Matthew Lush and his wife Dominique of Fort McMurray, Shane Lush and his wife Jessica of Fort McMurray, and Adam Lush of Fort McMurray; and
numerous great nieces and nephews, as well as a number of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Gordon and Clara Lush, and Chesley and Edith Davis.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held for Michael on February 15th, at 11:00 am at the Salvation Army, 125 Elmore Dr, Fort McMurray.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army in Michael’s memory.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to many of the nurses and doctors at the
intensive care units at the University of Alberta and Grey Nuns Hospitals in Edmonton.
