It is with great sadness we inform you of the sudden passing of Nancy Jane Rafuse, beloved mother, sister and friend on June 19, 2022. She was 79 years old.
Predeceased by her husband David and many brothers and
sisters, Nancy is survived by her 4 children, Tom (Fred) Rafuse, Shawna Rafuse, Ian Rafuse, and John Rafuse; her grandchildren; and her siblings and family in New Brunswick.
Nancy spent her working life at White Hall Daycare in Edmonton, where she built many lifelong relationships with the children she cared for. Many of them often referred to her as “Miss Nancy”!
Nancy’s biggest passion was wrestling. Passing this passion to her boys, she loved the whole wrestling world! Friday nights were spent with John watching wrestling, and no one will ever forget her presence as she cheered her son Ian on as a referee and heckled the wrestlers of RCW on a weekly basis! Her seat will forever be seated around the RCW ring and her memory will live on FOREVER!
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Abbotsfield Recreation Center from 7-9 pm
