Pat died peacefully on June 14, 2023. Her passing is remembered with great sadness by her friends and family while her life is recalled with happiness and smiles at the exuberance and cheerfulness that she brought to her relationships.
The many children Pat taught will remember her as a loving,
encouraging teacher.
Her love of music was obvious to all by the many choirs in which she was a gleeful member.
Pat wished to thank everyone who knew her for the heartfelt joy that each one of you brought to her life, and that her family and friends remember the good times, the shared laughter, fun and memories.
In memory of Pat’s love of reading, a donation could be made to the Edmonton Public Library or to another charity of your choice.
“Friendship isn’t a big thing; it’s a million little things.”
Cremation has taken place; as per Pat’s wishes, no service will be held.
I will always remember her beautiful smile. She was so kind and loved her students at Bishop Savaryn School She always left me feeling happy and I knew that she really cared about my son. Years later I bumped into her. She said she had to say hello to me as she remembered me! What a lovely lady. We loved you Mrs. Hughes. Keep smiling.
