Penny Marleen Bramley
1947 – 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Penny Bramley, in Edmonton, at the age of 76.

Penny and her husband, Cliff, were devoted to each other and celebrated over 34 happy years of marriage raising three daughters – Kim (Don), Sherri, Lisa – doting on their four grandchildren – Corrina (Mike), Braiden, Jessie, Olivia – two great grandchildren – Kaydin, Caleb . She enjoyed many memorable moments with extended family – Rick, Diane and family, Aunt Donius, Doug and family, Lorna, Andy and family – as well as with many more family, friends and neighbours.

Penny will always be remembered for her kind heart, gentle smile and generosity. We also remember her creating and gifting beautiful needlepoint artwork including 3 foot high ‘Pink Lady & Blue Boy’, handsewn and crafted personalized presents and knitted guest slippers.

Everyone enjoyed and requested her family food favourites like her signature lasagna, ‘Popeye’ and delicious baked goods – chocolate chip cookies and jewel chocolate cake.
Her community contributions included directing and coaching girls basketball, caring about the children on her school bus, and meticulously managing financial matters and operations in business and public service.

In memory of Penny, a donation could be made to the Stollery Children’s Foundation or to another charity of your choice.

Cremation has taken place; as per Penny’s wishes, no service will be held.
