Shelley Torchia

It is with a broken heart and extreme sadness that we, the family of Shelley announce the passing unexpectedly after fighting a courageous battle against health issues for the past several months. Shelley will always be remembered as the beautiful wife & best friend of 25 years to Ben, loving mother to Jason and Mathew; caring stepmother to Jesse; proudest Gigi to Kristian; and great sister to Jeff and Terry.

Shelley, my heart belonged to you yesterday, today and will forever
Shelley, how lucky I am to have someone that makes saying goodbye for now, so painfully difficult
Shelley, my heart holds a special place that no one else will ever replace
Shelley, I love you, always have and always will
Shelley, we will be together again someday somewhere
Love you and miss you so very much
Yours forever, Ben

Shelley, memories of our adventures from early days, teaching me how to drive standard for one, remain as clear as a prairie sky. Your fiesty loyalty to family and friends was undeniable; sticking up for Boo legendary. Though life led us in different directions, a word would bring us right back together. Profound condolences to all who loved and were loved by you.
