Walter Dwayne Pelletier

WALTER (WALLY GATOR) PELLETIER – August 19, 1949 to November 1, 2020
With sadness, we announce the passing of Wally Pelletier.
Wally is survived by his wife, Linda; sons Clint (Jenn) and Craig (Cindy); grandchildren Devin, Kyra, Emma and Alysa; sisters Marie Carnegie, Yvonne Reynolds, Irene Campbell, and Paulette (Danny) Thomson, brother-in-law Peter (Lohny) Hornick, numerous dear nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
Wally was predeceased by his parents Octave and Florence, brothers Albert and Ernest, and sister Lynn.
Wally was born and raised in the Westlock area. He loved the outdoors. Baseball, hockey, boating, waterskiing and camping occupied much of his younger years, along with hunting, trapping, and ski-dooing. In later years, Wally was happiest when he was at his lake property, or when spending time with dear friends in Yuma, Arizona.
Wally was a Mr. Fix-it, and an innovator. Give him a hammer and nails, and he could build almost anything. When given a problem, he would think it through, and come up with a solution – often using duct tape or glue – and it would usually work!
As per Wally’s request, there will be no funeral service. If one wishes, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, or to the U of A Hospital.
