Walther passed away on Dec, 22 of 2022 at 90 years of age.
He is survived by his Wife Edith, Daughter Astrid, Son David , 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
Walther was born is Parimaribo, Surimane.
He had a rich and interesting life and always had a ready smile and the gift of the gab.
Walther had many hobbies over the years including model aircraft, Ham radio, St. Johns Ambulance volunteer, Photography, and computers.
His occupations included, Merchant seaman, Police officer, Insurance salesman, Machinist, Millwright , and volunteer Fire fighter for Imperial Oil at the refinery he worked at.
Walther had many friends in his life and enjoyed making people laugh, he was always willing to help fellow hobbyists and gave his time freely to those that asked.
Saddened to read of your loss. Walt her had an infectious smile and wonderful sense of humour. I remember him as kind and helpful in so many ways. He will no doubt be greatly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him, myself especially!
