Bill was truly an honourable man, respected and admired by those who worked with him. I had the pleasure of working with Bill during his time with Woolco and Wal-Mart in the eighties and nineties. Bill was a true gentleman, and treated his customers, staff and everyone with respect and good humour. Bill also had quite a competitive edge and for those of you that don’t know, he was in the top 3 in Canada out of over one hundred automotive centres. I recall that when he met Sally, he was very happy. I miss him.

Even though Bill and I lived a couple thousand miles apart we talked almost every day through messenger. I met Bill a few years back when he was visiting in the Sault. We had a lot of fun and some good laughs and that is when he became known as Wild Bill. I will truly miss Bill and my heart goes out to Sally and family.
