Linda Witwicki born in Edmonton, Alberta (August 10th 1955)- Passed away (May 12th 2025)
With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Linda Witwicki, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Linda passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, after a life filled with strength, kindness, and deep devotion to her family.
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Linda was the daughter of Doris Slowinski, Who raised her and her sister June as a single mother. The values of resilience, independence, and unconditional love that Linda learned from her mother shaped the woman she became.
She worked for many years at the Glenrose Hospital, where her kindness, patience and dedication left a lasting impact on those she worked with and cared for.
Linda was the beloved wife of Harry Witwicki with whom she shared 45 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a home full of love, laughter and cherished memories.
She shared 47 beautiful years with her loving husband, Harry Witwicki, and together they built a life grounded in care, commitment and shared joy.
Linda was the proud mother of Lukas (predeceased), Sher-Lin, and Shelly (Husband Steven) and a deeply loved mother-in-law to Jenn, with whom she shared a close and meaningful bond with all. Her heart was fullest when surrounded by her grandchildren: Savanna, Skyler, Slade, Hazen, Logan and great grandson Wessley, who all brought endless pride and happiness to her life.
Linda will be remembered for her unwavering love, quiet strength and grace with which she carried herself. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on July 5th, 2025 from 12-3pm at the Four Points by Sheraton located at 7230 Argyll Road.
