Brian Michael Kucher

In Loving Memory
Brian Michael Kucher
October 11, 1962 – May 16, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Brian Kucher, who departed this life at the age of 62.
Brian was a member of Local 488 Plumbers and Pipefitter’s union for more than 40 years. Brian was also a very talented handyman/renovator and there was very little that Brian could not fix.
Brian was always happy to lend a helping hand to anyone or lend a tool or two to people in need.
Brian was a great volunteer – whether it be at St. Luke School, flipping pancakes or hamburgers, supplying lights for dances or at South Cooking Lake, BBQing hot dogs and supplying lights for dances, and many other events, you could always count on him to step up. He also enjoyed volunteering at the Big Valley Jamboree music festival along with Brenda and her family and friends.
Brian is fondly remembered and dearly missed by his partner Brenda Watmough of 27 years, his grandson and buddy Dre Hayduk, and his 3 stepsons Ryan, Corey and Wesley. He is also survived by his brother and sisters, Barry and Joan, Debbie, Darlene and Fred and Melanie and Reinier and their families, as well as his brothers in law and sisters in law, Terry and Marie, Darrel, Billy and Paula and Cheryl and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to the dedicated Cardiac ICU care team at Mazankowski Heart Institute, who’s compassion and care were a comfort in Brian’s final days.
A Celebration of Life in memory of Brian will be held on June 28, 2025, 2 pm at Colchester Hall 23219 TWP 520 Sherwood Park.
