Mona Lowell Flexhaug, age 87, of Sherwood Park, Alberta, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025.
Born on August 2, 1937, in Cardston, Alberta, Mona was the oldest daughter of Albert Luell Perrett and Delsa Ethel (Neilson) Perrett. She was raised in the close-knit community of Mountain View, Alberta, alongside her seven siblings, rooted in strong religious values and love of family.
On June 1, 1956, Mona married the love of her life, Doran Wayne Flexhaug of Raymond, Alberta, in the Cardston Alberta Temple. Their enduring marriage was an example of love, faith, devotion and together they raised six sons—Derek, Miles, Keevin, Mark, Jason, and Jeffrey—who continue to carry forward the legacy of their parents’.
Mona was predeceased by her beloved husband, Doran, who passed away on March 23, 2014. In accordance with her wishes, she will be laid to rest beside him in the Mountain View Cemetery, at a future date to be determined by the family.
Mona will be fondly remembered for her grace, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to her family and loved ones.
